We’ve got two versions on offer, a 50 lbs one (arrow speed 195 fps or 59 m/s) and a 80 lbs version (arrow speed 235 fps or 72 m/s). The advantage of the less powerful variant is the fact it’s easier to cock and the crossbow arrows will be easier to pull out of the target. The more powerful one, however, has a straighter arrow flight and offers more impact.
Cocking the Hori-Zone Redback RTS And Deluxe Black doesn’t have to be done by hand, as it has a cocking lever that has a nock to pull the string into the latch. This doesn’t only make the cocking lighter and prevents the string from digging into your fingers, it also ensures the string is pulled evenly, which does wonders for the accuracy.
